The Azerbaijan University of Languages (ADU) has achieved another milestone in expanding international relations. On July 4, a grand opening ceremony was held at the university for the Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Auditorium. The event was attended by ADU’s leadership, faculty members, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors of Arab states to Azerbaijan, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The ceremony began with the national anthems of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates. In his opening speech, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Azerbaijan, Mohamed Al Blushi, stated that the Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Auditorium at the Azerbaijan University of Languages will ensure the continuity of cultural, educational, and other relations between our countries. This center, which will act as a spiritual bridge between the two countries, will become a primary interest for young people wishing to learn Arabic in-depth and gain information about the United Arab Emirates. Expressing his gratitude to the university’s rector, academician Kamal Abdulla, for his support in opening the Arabic language auditorium, the ambassador expressed his confidence that this establishment will play a significant role in further strengthening relations between our countries and peoples.
