Azerbaijan University of Languages Scientific Library and Information Service Center combines past and future, supporting study, teaching, and research programs. Library; academic staff, students, administrative staff, and local people, as well as provide information services in Azerbaijan and to researchers all over the Professional librarians provide Library services such as assistance, access to information, book lending, using the internet, use of audio-visual information resources, use of electronic databases, and user training. Azerbaijan University of Languages Scientific Library and Information Services Center dedicates its efforts to research activities through high-quality printed and electronic publications, modern educational spaces, qualified staff, and advanced information technologies in continuous collaboration with academic departments.
The Scientific Library and Information Service Center provides all kinds of printed, electronic, and audiovisual information sources in line with the needs of its users. Printed resources offer an open-shelf system. Electronic resources can be used in the library's e-library hall, remote access, and the users’ own computers.
Librarians combine library services with the possibilities of up-to-date information technology, create a rich information environment, facilitate access to information, and ensure that students, academic staff, and researchers benefit from interactive library services at the highest level. On the other hand, librarians have a wealth of knowledge to find the resources that researchers need.
In addition to standard library services, the library supports research through regular training on Research Methods and Techniques, Academic Profile Creation, and Reference Management Systems.
ORCID is a digital identifier number that allows solving problems created by name similarities, accessing articles faster, making publications and project applications processes easier, combining research and studies and creating automatic links among studies. Azerbaijan University of Languages is a corporate member of ORCID and the Library is conducting studies for ORCID. For further information click here.
Other facilities that Scientific Library and Information Services Center offer to researchers include seminars with effective research methods and strategies to ensure easy and fast access to academic knowledge. These seminars offer detailed information about library use and membership, off-campus access, use of electronic resources, borrowing e-books, automatic notification, creating your own library, scholarly writing tools, information management and research methods.

Bibliometric studies are conducted on the analysis of scientific outputs, using indexes such as WOS and SCOPUS. In addition, author workshops are organized on topics such as scholarly article preparation, effective writing, journal selection and ways to publish articles in high- impact indexed journals and effective management of the publishing process.
Scientific Library and Information Service Center also stores all academic resources such as books, articles, theses, conference papers, reports, and research data Azerbaijan University of Languages published directly or indirectly by the university in digital format in the Azerbaijan University of Languages Institutional Academic Archive, ensuring that these resources are preserved long-term and made available for Open Access in compliance with copyright laws to increase the impact of publications.

Mission
AUL Scientific Library and Information Service Center provides high-quality information services to members of the AUL Community, its local and international researchers, and all of Azerbaijan society. AUL Scientific Library and Information Service Center has extensive book collections in print and digital formats. It subscribes to scholarly databases in all areas taught at AUL and provides general research techniques and information literacy training.
