AUL Holds Training on Ethical Conduct and Anti-Corruption Policy for IR and Regional Studies Students

As part of its commitment to promoting ethical governance and institutional integrity, Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) organized an awareness training session on ethical conduct and anti-corruption policies. The event was held for students of the Faculty of International Relations and Regional Studies and facilitated by experts from the Strategic Development and Planning Department.
The session aimed to raise students’ awareness of AUL’s Code of Conduct, internal grievance mechanisms, and the university’s anti-bribery and corruption policies. Participants were introduced to the key principles of ethical decision-making, academic honesty, and the importance of safeguarding transparency and fairness in higher education institutions.
Special emphasis was placed on the role of whistleblower protection mechanisms and the importance of having updated institutional policies that reflect global best practices. The trainers also presented recent developments and updates made to AUL’s ethical governance frameworks.
Through interactive discussions and case-based exercises, students engaged in practical learning and explored real-life ethical dilemmas. This initiative reflects AUL’s ongoing efforts to integrate ethics into all levels of university governance and aligns with its commitments under the QS Sustainability framework.
