Organized by the Department of Strategic Development and Planning, a meeting was held with students who participated in COP29 to discuss the activities to be implemented within the university in 2025. During the meeting, staff members of the department, Gunay Seyidova and Gultaj Bayramova, delivered a presentation on the university’s strategic development plans.

Additionally, Sevda Abuzerli, Senior Lecturer at the Department of European Languages, participated in the meeting and emphasized the impact of international experiences on the university’s educational activities. The students presented proposals on how the experiences gained at COP29 could contribute to the university’s development.

As a result of the meeting, a concrete action plan for 2025 was proposed, and the realization of the following suggestions was discussed in order to ensure the continuation of such discussions in the future:

1. Organizing seminars, training sessions, and projects related to ecological issues and the preservation of natural resources within the university;
2. Actively participating in social responsibility projects as a university;
3. Establishing a mentorship program for young leaders within the university; and more.
