In line with its institutional values of fairness, integrity, and transparency, Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) has established an internal framework for ethical oversight. Within the Strategic Development and Planning Department, a designated official has been appointed to monitor and ensure compliance with ethical standards across all levels of the university.

The designated official collaborates closely with various departments and academic units to promote ethical conduct, resolve ethical concerns, and ensure that all institutional activities are aligned with AUL’s Code of Conduct and international standards of academic integrity.

The office oversees implementation of training programs, develops awareness-raising campaigns, and provides confidential support for cases related to ethical dilemmas. This function is integrated into the university's long-term strategy to embed ethics and compliance into its organisational culture.

The presence of this ethical compliance function ensures that AUL upholds the highest standards of professional responsibility and reinforces its commitment to global sustainability and governance frameworks, including those under the QS Sustainability Rankings.
