"ONE-DAY CALIPH" Student Self-Governance Day to Be Held – ANNOUNCEMENT

On December 13, 2022, within the framework of the "Auditorium+" program, the “One-Day Caliph” Student Self-Governance Day  will be held at Azerbaijan University of Languages (ADU).

The "One-Day Caliph" initiative allows students to take on the roles of university leadership for a full day. The decisions made by the students in these roles on that day have full legal force. Each student who assumes a position will receive a one-day salary for the post they occupy. Additionally, they will form the university’s “Shadow Cabinet,” which will continue its activities until the next “Caliph Day.”

All undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students at the university are eligible to participate in the project. Students elected to the listed positions will be chosen by open voting held in the university's Assembly Hall.

Note: Candidates must collect a special application form from their faculty dean’s office, complete it in full, and submit it to the Youth Organizations Office. Based on the applications, candidates will be invited to selection rounds. Additional information about the next stages of the project will be provided to the candidates.

 

Important: Students who have previously won a position in this project are not eligible to reapply  for the same or any other role.
