The Department of Civil Defense and Basics of Medical Knowledge of the Azerbaijan University of Languages organized an event titled "Ecological culture" in honor of the "Year of solidarity for the sake of a green world".

The event was arranged by the department head teachers, Matanat Askerova and Zumrüd Huseynova, and involved students from 327 b of the Education 2 faculty, 311 a, and 316 groups of the Education 1 faculty.

Zumrüd Huseynova started the event with an introduction.

Guler Salimova showed an animated film, and students showed Sevinj Iskanderova a video about ecological culture.

Aysu Abdullayeva, Nurana Aliyeva, and Nazrin Imanova discussed the perspectives of various public figures and poets on ecology, nature, proverbs, and aphorisms.

 "The influence of nature on the human body" and "Ecological culture in Islam and ecological culture in our daily life" were the subjects of speeches by students in group 311a, Güler Jabbarli, Gunel Mammadova, Esmira Karimova, and Arzu Mansirova.

Lastly, teachers Matanat Asgarova and Nahida Mammadova discussed the significance of environmental culture and the need to educate all segments of the public in this field.

The session concluded with an appeal to students to "Think globally, apply locally".
