As part of a series of events organized by the Department of Strategic Development and Planning, the initial session of the training titled “The Impact of Corruption on Educational Resources and Its Harm to Education Quality” was conducted for students of the Faculty of Philology. The training aimed to highlight the potential negative effects of corruption in the education sector and how it can undermine the quality of education.

The session was opened by the Head of the Department, Roya Aliyeva, who emphasized the significance of the event and the importance of combating corruption within the education system. Department specialists Gunay Seyidova (English section) and Gultaj Bayramova (Azerbaijani section) delivered presentations discussing the impact of corruption on educational resources and the resulting damage to education quality.

During the training, students learned how corruption obstructs the fair distribution of educational resources and how the lack of transparency in educational institutions can affect the overall quality of education. The primary goal of the session was to raise awareness among students about the fight against corruption and to emphasize the importance of ethical principles in the field of education.

This series of events will continue in the future with students from other faculties and is expected to serve as a significant step toward reducing the impact of corruption on educational resources through the implementation of appropriate measures.
