- What is Erasmus+ Exchange Program?
Erasmus+ is the European Commision’s Program for education, training, youth and sport. In Azerbaijan it is run by National Erasmus+ Agency of Azerbaijan to promote cooperation between higher education institutions. The European Commission provides financial support for the exchange by offering grants to students selected for the exchange program.
- Our History
Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) has participated in a number of projects including Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Erasmus +. In 2013-2016, the AUL was the grant holder and coordinator of the Foreign Language Teaching for Professional Purposes (FLEPP) TEMPUS project. Furthermore, the AUL participated as a partner university in four main projects of Erasmus Mundus program (Alrakis, Backis, Hermes and Ember).
In 2014, the AUL joined the Erasmus + exchange program as the continuation of Erasmus Mundus and developed bilateral relations with European Union universities within the framework of Erasmus + KA1 mobility and KA2 reform programs of Azerbaijan University of Languages. Since the inception of the process, 243 students have studied at various European universities for one semester, as well as more than 40 AUL staff have organized classes and trainings at those universities for one week and more.

- Application Requirements
Students who wish to apply for Erasmus+ exchange program shall submit the following documents:
- Transcript
- Reference Letter
- Motivation Letter
- Academic Certificate
- Language Certificate (must be provided from the Test Center)
