Azerbaijani Language and Culture Center in Hungary
On May 19, 2024, the Azerbaijani Language and Culture Center was inaugurated at Eötvös Loránd University on the initiative of Azerbaijan University of Languages. The Center was established to promote the teaching of the Azerbaijani language in Hungary, introduce Azerbaijan’s rich national and cultural heritage, and present contemporary realities of Azerbaijan to the local community. It also serves as an important platform for advancing academic research, fostering institutional cooperation, and supporting faculty and student exchange programs, as well as joint scientific and cultural projects. The Center organizes language courses, educational seminars, cultural presentations, and thematic events, contributing to stronger educational and cultural ties and enhanced academic dialogue between the two countries.
