On May 18-19, 2017, I Global Forum of University of Foreign Languages was held in   Beijing. Global Alliance was founded of University of Foreign Languages  in the forum. To create new educational models and cooperation between the universities of foreign languages as a result of the foundation of the alliance and the development of exchange of experience in foreign languages were discussed in the founding meeting that was attended by 31 universities of the world's 16 countries.

Afgan Abdullayev, who represented Azerbaijan University of Languages, gave detailed information about the state strategy for the development of higher education in the country, higher education programs through the implementation of modern international experience. He praised the work of the meeting, and expressed confidence that Azerbaijan's active participation in such international alliances will contribute to the expansion of   international relations of our country's institutions of higher education.

AUL was elected to the Alliance in the forum devoted to the "Language, civilization and global governance" and Professor Afgan Abdullayev, who represented the university, signed the relevant document.

Note that the main goal of the foundation of Alliance is further expansion of cooperation and exchange agreements in the field of international research, student and teacher exchanges between universities and joint scientific research and the implementation of multilateral and academic publications.
