Ayfer Altay: "AUL’s rise by 100 positions in the QS rating is a historic success"

On March 12, the rating agency Quacquarelli Symonds published a table of the best universities in the world by subject areas for 2025.

Azerbaijan University of Languages was included in the list of 250 best universities in the world. Of the 5,200 universities that applied, 1,747 universities took part in the study.

It should be noted that in 2023 and 2024, the Azerbaijan University of Languages entered the group of 301-340 best universities in the world in modern languages, and this year it rose by 100 positions and took 201-250 place.

"Subject rating of the best universities in the world QS" is based on five key indicators of university evaluation: academic reputation, reputation among employers, links to scientific publications, H-index and index of international scientific cooperation.

On this occasion, congratulatory letters come from different universities of the world.

Dean of the Translation Faculty of Atylym University of Turkey, Professor Ayfar Altay highly appreciated the great success, achieved by AUL.

Ayfer Altay noted that the promotion of the Azerbaijan University of Languages by 100 levels in the ranking of the best universities in the world by subject areas of 2025 by the Quacquarelli Symonds rating agency is a historic success: "I read this wonderful news with great pleasure. The fact that AUL is included in the list of 201-250 best universities in the world under the Modern Languages program shows how effective, accurate and professional the work is in these five areas. 5,200 universities have applied, of which 1,747 universities have been involved in research, which is a serious competition. Azerbaijan University of Languages is able to compete with the largest universities in the world. I believe that the cooperation between Atyl University and the Azerbaijan University of Languages will expand in the future. I support all the steps, taken by the Azerbaijan University of Languages and congratulate all our colleagues, wish them success."
