Within the framework of the forum, a master class on teaching English was held
On December 5, within the framework of the international forum "Dialogue of Cultures in a Changing World", held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, the Dean of the Faculty of Romance-Germanic Philology of Voronezh State University, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Olga Boriskina held a master class for English language teachers and students-philologists of AUL.
The event covered the importance of English as a means of communication in the modern world and non-traditional approaches to its teaching. Stating that the main purpose of the master class is to present advanced teaching methods and innovative approaches to more effective mastering of the English language, Associate Professor Olga Boriskina demonstrated a series of tasks in the lexical and grammatical framework to accelerate the process of learning the language and make it more productive.
The training paid attention to the role of the lexical and grammatical approach in the process of learning English in education, the introduction of innovative technologies into the educational process, motivation and practice in language learning, individual approach and other issues.
The lecturer, who put forward a number of advanced methods and strategies to improve the effectiveness of language teaching, presented a number of useful recommendations for achieving real results in mastering the English language.
The participants of the event expressed satisfaction with the master class, stressing that the presented methods and approaches will be useful for wider application in teaching English.
The students expressed confidence, that the presented series of tasks would further improve their language skills. The master class was evaluated as a successful step in terms of development of cooperation in the field of education between Azerbaijani and Russian universities and exchange of best practices.
At the end of the event, Olga Boriskina expressed a desire to further cooperate with the AUL in larger-scale projects.
