On October 4, the Ambassador of Venezuela to our country Christopher Martinez and the poetess Ana Maria Oveido visited the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).

At a meeting with AUL  rector, Academician Kamal Abdulla, it was noted that the artistic word is the most effective tool that brings people closer to each other and deepens friendly relations. It was emphasized that AUL students study the Spanish language, culture and history of Spanish-speaking countries with great enthusiasm and interest. The guest expressed her gratitude and shared her ideas and proposals, regarding the expansion of Azerbaijani-Venezuelan literary relations and the popularization of Azerbaijani poetry in Venezuela. The poet presented her famous book "The Willow Kingdom" to the AUL library, translated into Azerbaijani.

Later, Ana Maria Oveydo met with the students. The poetess recited her poems and  Answered the questions of the participants of the event.
