AUL hosted a meeting with representatives of modern Russian literature
On October 4, a meeting with representatives of modern Russian literature was held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages.
The rector of the AUL, academician, people's writer Kamal Abdulla, greeted the guests and expressed his pleasure to see them at the university.
It was noted, that in recent years relations in the scientific and cultural spheres have been developing between Azerbaijan and Russia.
It was said, that the establishment of literary ties, the expansion of creative opportunities, the implementation of experience exchange programs are very important issues for the cultural environment of both countries: "Currently, cooperation between the two countries in the economic, political and cultural spheres is at a high level. Recognition, study of modern Russian literature and participation in various projects within the framework of cooperation are also very important for our literary environment. We are glad, that today well-known representatives of modern Russian literature perform as guests at AUL. This is an unforgettable meeting, both for teachers and students."
In their speeches Viktor Remizov, Boris Minayev, Natalia Bakirova and Valeria Pustova thanked the management and staff of the university for the warm welcome and hospitality. It was noted, that the development of literary and artistic ties between countries, the implementation of new cultural projects cause positive emotions.
It was pointed out, that representatives of modern Russian and Azerbaijani literature in their work always pay special attention to the ideas of humanism, human feelings and historical aspects, which are common values in the literature of both countries.
At the end of the meeting students' questions were answered.
