Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Auditorium opened at AUL

Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) has achieved new successes in the direction of expanding international relations. On July 4, a solemn opening ceremony of the Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Auditorium was held at the University.
The event was attended by AUL leadership and teaching staff, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Arab states in Azerbaijan, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event began with the singing of the national anthems of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates.
Making an opening speech, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Azerbaijan Mohammed Al Blushi said the Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Auditorium, which started its activity at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, will ensure continuity of ties between our countries in cultural, educational and other spheres.
This auditorium will serve as a center for in-depth study of Arabic language and information about the United Arab Emirates for young people, as well as act as a spiritual bridge between the two countries. Thanking the Rector of the University, Academician Kamal Abdulla, for supporting the opening of the Auditorium in AUL, the Ambassador expressed confidence that all these steps will play an important role in further strengthening the ties between our countries and peoples.
Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, Academician Kamal Abdulla, sincerely welcomed the guests and talked about the importance of the event: "Today is a historic day. The opening of the Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Auditorium at the Azerbaijan University of Languages means the establishment of new scientific and cultural ties and the foundation of future successes. On this occasion, I cordially congratulate the scientific community and representatives of education".
In his speech, the rector noted that the Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Auditorium will create favorable opportunities for more detailed acquaintance with the culture and history of the United Arab Emirates: "I believe that young people who will use the potential of the Center will become closer to the Arab spiritual world, get acquainted with the peculiarities of the Arab culture. I would very much like the voice of Azerbaijani culture to be heard in the United Arab Emirates and all Arab states. Mr. Ambassador and I have serious intentions in this direction. We will work on the realization of these important ideas".
At the end of the opening ceremony, a short film about the United Arab Emirates was shown, and a commemorative photo was taken.
