A meeting with the delegation of Kazan Federal University was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages on November 22.

The meeting was attended by director of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Kazan Federal University Radif Zamaletdinov, deputy director for international relations and development Elzara Gafiyatova, director of the Scientific and Educational Center, named after Kayum Nasiri Alfiya Yusupova, and AUL leadership.

Rector of AUL, academician Kamal Abdulla, welcomed the guests and noted, that he was glad to welcome everyone to the university. It was noted that a number of projects are planned to be realized within the framework of scientific cooperation.  Speaking about AUL's international reputation and activities of the School of Multiculturalism, which is organized twice a year in Azerbaijan, the rector told the guests, that Azerbaijan, as a tolerant state, has made a great contribution to peace and security in the region: "Azerbaijan University of Languages has taken 300th place among 1600 universities of the world in the international rating table QS, which is the first time in the history of AUL, such success in the classification of modern languages has given us an additional impetus. Establishing mutual academic ties is of great importance to realize new academic exchanges. We can also engage in joint scientific publications and journals. I think this can be one of the positive factors for the development of our cooperation. I think this can become one of the positive factors for the development of our cooperation. As you know, Azerbaijan as a multicultural state has become a model for the whole world. Our goal is to show equal and tolerant approach to all, adhering to the principle of peaceful coexistence of peoples and justice".

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality, Radif Zamaletdinov, Director of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Kazan Federal University, expressed interest in scientific cooperation with AUL. It was noted, that the publication of joint scientific journals and publications will lead to the creation of favorable opportunities for cooperation between the universities.

The meeting continued with a discussion of the prospects for future scientific cooperation.
