Former Air Force pilot, astronaut and current NASA Deputy Administrator Pamela Melroy met with students at the Baku American Center at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) on September 30. 
Before the meeting, the guest had a close look at the MakerSpace Center of the Baku American Center.
She listened to the stories of successes of the Baku American Center volunteers and the students of Azerbaijan University of Languages.
Ms. Melroy shared her experiences at the meeting, emphasized the importance of STEM education for women and girls, and spoke about career opportunities. 
Finally, Ms. Melroy answered questions from the participants.
