“Graduation Day " was held at the AUL

“Graduation Day" was held on July 4 at the Azerbaijan University of Languages for students, who have completed their bachelor's and master's studies in the academic year 2022-2023.

The event was attended by members of parliament, university faculty, community representatives, employees of various government agencies, ambassadors and diplomats.

"Graduation Day" began with the singing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then the student anthem "Gaudeamus" was played.

Before the event began, AUL Rector, Academician Kamal Abdulla, met with ambassadors and representatives of foreign embassies in Azerbaijan.

The rector informed the guests in detail about the specialties, taught at the university and its international relations. He noted that 6,000 students study at the AUL. About 1,500 students of the university are graduates in the academic year 2022-2023. "Distinguished guests, distinguished ambassadors, distinguished deputies! We welcome each and every one of you. All of us are happy to see you here at the University. Our students thank you for coming to their graduation. Today Azerbaijan, as a victorious nation, demonstrates to the world its victorious national culture, strength and greatness. As a nation that preserves and develops multicultural values, we bear great responsibility. Each of us is keenly aware of this responsibility, manifests it in our work and activities, and our truth is our common truth. I believe that you, too, know what this truth of the highest order is. We believe that the great democratic countries, will contribute to our righteous cause.

It was noted, that the Azerbaijan University of Languages was among the top 301-340 universities among the world's 1,500 universities in the field of modern languages. It was reported, that the "architects" of this success were all the AUL staff and teachers.

In his speech, the rector congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future activities. He spoke about the state's concern for education in our country and the accomplishments of AUL. "Today we are all witnessing the brave, political, ideological, economic and cultural rise of Azerbaijan in the world. The role of youth in the development of modern Azerbaijan is invaluable. We believe they will serve the homeland with dignity. I want to express my gratitude to the ambassadors and MPs who accepted our invitation and participated in Graduation Day. We have witnessed the active participation of each of you in the educational process, we have felt your support."

Kamal Abdulla added that AUL's doors have always been open for graduates and will always be open for graduates: "Dear graduates, no matter where you are, we will always be there for you. You can always count on our moral support. You will always honor the name of your country and the university where you studied.

Ambassadors, chargés d'affaires ad interim, embassy officials and members of parliament spoke later at the event about AUL's successes and the university's expanding international ties, wished students success in their future lives and presented diplomas and certificates to students who excelled in their studies.

At the ceremony, honorary diplomas were awarded to graduates who showed high results and distinguished themselves by their active work.

Then the artistic part was presented.
