On November 21 a meeting with the faculty of Samara State Technical University

was held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages. The rector warmly greeted the

guests at the university.

It was noted that AUL continues to establish scientific and cultural relations,

exchange teachers and students with a number of influential universities of the world.

One of the steps taken in this direction is the collaboration of language and cultural

centers between the 2 countries.

The importance of developing cultural and scientific ties between universities in the

country was emphasized, as well as the exchange of teachers.

The meeting was attended by Anna Zotova, vice-rector for international cooperation

of Samara Technical University, associate professor, Yulia Lopukhova, head of

department "Pedagogy, intercultural communication and Russian as a foreign

language", and Maria Yurina, associate professor of the department.

The guests spoke about the importance of the meeting and expressed gratitude to the

University administration for the sincere and warm welcome.

It was noted that the signed document will contribute to the establishment of

scientific cooperation between the two universities. The deepened development of

bilateral relations will lead to new perspectives and opportunities in science. Later a

treaty on international cooperation and interaction was signed between the two

universities. The document reflected the exchange of scientific experience and

scientific information, training of highly qualified specialists, establishment of

academic, scientific and cultural relations.

Parties reiterated their interest in establishing mutual scientific and cultural relations.

The necessity to work in this direction and fulfill the set tasks in the next five years

was especially emphasized.
