AUL staff member completed summer course in Japan

At the initiative of Japanese Embassy in Azerbaijan, AUL Japanese language teacher Hanim Halilova (International Relations and Management Faculty, Foreign Language Board) took summer course called“Methodologies of Japanese language teaching programme”, organized and financed by the Japanese Foundation. The course was held at Urra International Institute at Saytama, Japan. 36 teachers of Japanese from 26 different countries took part at the course. Teachers gave their lectures; studied new methodic, worked on new projects, visited Japanese educational institutions, observing educational process and at the end they were given international certificate. In the framework of the programme each teacher provided extensive information on his University. Hanim Halilova gave a presentation about AUL and the Japanese Research Centre, operating at the University. Excursion to Tokyo, Yokohama, Kamakura, Saitama and other cities of Japan were organized for the participants. Teachers improved their language skills and were introduced to the cultural, art and traditional specificities of the country. H.Halilova` s participation in the course would entail both further improvement of educational process and a big students motivation.
