On May 23, 2019 Ayten Davudova and Murad Huseynov, the students of SABAH group of Azerbaijan University of Languages, organized an integrated lesson at the secondary school № 6 for the pupils from 7A class where they had a pedagogical practice. Before the lesson the guests Elnur Sultanov -  General Secretary of the National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan on UNESCO and Vafa Yagublu - Director of the Institute of Professional Development of Education Workers talked about the purpose of that lesson, the activities of UNESCO, and got acquainted with the school’s achievements on such projects. The integrated lesson reflected English and Geography subjects and covered one of the global problems that UNESCO and the world has been facing - the issue of nutritional deficiency and food waste. During the lesson, the pupils worked in groups, watched the video, and discussed the topics on handouts that were distributed. Special attention was drawn to the role of pupils in the issue.  Satisfactory results were obtained from the lesson. At the end, the guests shared their viewpoints on the lesson and expressed deep gratitude to the students’ supervisor, senior lecturer from Department of Innovations in Education at AUL , Konul Hajiyeva and school teacher , Salima Hasanova for their support, assitance, and cooperation.

Finally, the guests distributed gift toys to the pupils.
