Monograph of the Associate-professor of Azerbaijan University of Languages Şəlalə Bağırova, PhD in history, associate-professor of the chair of the Caucasian Studies has been published in “Elm və Təhsil Publishing House. The title of the monograph is “Organization of Healthcare and Patronship during the rule of the People’s Republic of Azerbaijan”.

The monograph was published by the order (Minutes No 25) of Academic Council of Azerbaijan University of Languages dated February 27, 2019. Ibrahim Kazımbeyli, PhD in history, dean of the Faculty of International Relations and Management, is the editor of the book, which consists of 152 pages.  The reviewers are doctor of historical sciences, professor Solmaz Rustamova-Tohidi, senior research fellow of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Ziya Bunyadov, doctor of historical sciences, professor Anar Iskəndərov, head of the Chair of Methodology, History and Source Studies of Baku State University and Aqil Shahmuradov, PhD in history, associate-professor of the Chair of Regional Studies of Azerbaijan University of Languages.

The monograph deals with the organization of healthcare and patronship, activity of governmental and non-governmental organizations in the period of People’s Republic of Azerbaijan. The organizational issues of the ministry were reviewed. The book conveys information on the government officials who headed the ministry. The information conveyed by the author is based on real facts and documents. The role and services of small institutions and non-governmental organizations were also mentioned in the book.
