Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Hungary Peter Siyarto and rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, academician Kamal Abdulla signed a document of agreement.

On March 29, minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Hungary Peter Siyarto visited Azerbaijan University of Languages in the frames of his visit to Azerbaijan. Rector academician Kamal Abdulla said he was delighted to see Minister Peter Siyarto at the University. He said that the visit of the minister to Azerbaijan is beneficial for the development of friendship and brotherhood between the two nations, pointed out that the opening of the Centre of the Hungarian Language and Culture at the University was a remarkable event. He said that the preparations for opening the centre have been completed. Stating that the opening of the Centre will contribute to strengthening mutually beneficial relations, the rector expressed the hope that he would support the minister in creating a centre of the Azerbaijani language and culture as a mirror effect in one of the Hungarian universities for propagation of the culture, language, literature and history of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Along with the opening of the Centre of the Hungarian Language and Culture at the University, he highly appreciated the signature of a cooperation document on the teaching of the Hungarian language and culture for the further development of relations.

Minister Peter Siyarto expressed his satisfaction with his visit to AUL. He thanked the head of the University for the conditions created in the development of cooperation. The Minister spoke about the development of relations between the two countries. Peter Siyarto highly appreciated the creation of the Centre of the Hungarian Language and Culture Center at AUL. He said that every year the Hungarian universities create great opportunities for foreign students and advised the students of AUL to take an advantage of these opportunities.

An agreement was signed between the parties on teaching the Hungarian language and culture. In accordance with the agreement the cooperation will be renewed in the field of education, science and culture signed on June 29, 2018.  Cooperation with AUL for teaching the Hungarian language and culture, joint efforts will be made to support the establishment of the Centre of the Azerbaijani language and culture in one of the Hungarian universities.

Then there was held the official opening ceremony of the Centre of the Hungarian language and culture and a red ribbon was cut by the Hungarian Minister Peter Siyarto and rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages academician Kamal Abdulla.
