On December 24, 2018, there was held a roundtable   on the topic: “Ilham Aliyev's policy as a guarantee of sustainable development in modern Azerbaijan" at Azerbaijan University of Languages. Vice-rector on education Huseynov noted that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has been duly leading the country for 15 years. He spoke that the President has managed to raise Azerbaijan to the level of the leading states of the world due to his successful policy. He also stressed that the birthday of President Ilham Aliyev has always been celebrated with the people who need attention and care, so that the policy of the President may be analyzed from different points of view at the roundtable. Prof. Afgan Abdullayev, vice-rector for Academic Issues of Azerbaijan University of Languages, said that President Ilham Aliyev pursued a purposeful domestic and foreign policy and touched upon his qualities as a political leader. On behalf of the staff, he sent his congratulatory message to the President on his birthday. Then the dean of the School of Education, Prof. Fikret Jahangirov, spoke about the purposeful policy of President Ilham Aliyev in the sphere of education. He noted that as a result of the successful foreign policy pursued by the President of the country Azerbaijan has become a center of international events.

:Associate-professor Sevdagul Aliyeva spoke on the topic  “Ilham Aliyev`s Policy concerning education” , Ali Farhadov, employee of the Research Laboratory of Multiculturalism, spoke on “The Policy of Multiculturalism and Tolerance”, associate-professor of the Chair of International Relations, Aysel Bagirova spoke on the topic "Ilham Aliyev`s Policy and Regional Security of Azerbaijan", senior teacher L. Gasimov spoke on  "Ilham Aliyev's steps in the protection of the Azerbaijani language" in the course of "Ilham Aliyev's personality and modern Azerbaijan in international relations system", Elchin Ibrahimov, employee of the Research Laboratory of the Azerbaijani studies, scientific secretary of the Journal of ”Turkology“ spoke  about the steps of Ilham Aliyev in the protection of the Azerbaijani language

The roundtable ended with discussions.
