A conference on traditional Chinese medicine was organized at Confucius Institute operating at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). Within the framework of the seminar, medical experts, Professors Van Chuenchin and Quo Chaotan conducted master classes on traditional acupuncture and various therapies.

Director of Confucius Institute, Professor Rafig Abbasov spoke about the history and philosophical concepts of traditional Chinese medicine. R.Abbasov said that the Azerbaijani-Chinese humanitarian relations are developing on a rising line and reminded of the agreement signed between our countries in the field of health and medical science during the visit of national leader Heydar Aliyev to China.

Professors Van Chuenchin and Quo Chaotan talked about respiratory diagnostics, palpation, therapeutic gymnastics exercises, basic rules and methods of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis.
