Master classes on written and oral translation were held at AUL.

Master classes on written and oral translation were held for students of Translation and Cultural Studies Faculty of the Azerbaijan University of Languages on March 12. Classes were organized by the Faculty of Translation and Cultural Studies and the 461 a group student of the faculty Elgun Mammadov.

The lesson covered the expectations of translators, interpretation marketing, the types and requirements of modern translation, the first steps to be taken in this field, translation terms, 10 key stages of exclamation and other topics.

Elnur Huseynov, an interpreter on oral and synchronous interpretation, Ali Ahmedov the written and consecutive type translator spoke on the topics.

The questions of the students were answered at Master classes. Professional interpreters also attended the event.

Elnur Huseynov and Ali Ahmedov are graduates of AUL. E.Huseynov’s main working languages are Spanish, Russian and English, as well as consecutive and simultaneous translations into French-English, English-French. He is one of the 14 translators of the United Nations, currently working in Turkey. A.Ahmedov worked as an interpreter in Afghanistan. Having been engaged in various prominent companies at certain times, A.Ahmedov makes written and consecutive translations into English-Azerbaijani, Azerbaijani-English languages.
