An event titled “Politician Women In The History” was held on March 8 at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), organized by the International Relations and Management Faculty and the Students Scientific Society. (SSS)

Opening the event, the chairman of SSS, Lamia Mughalova, said Azerbaijan was the first country in the East to give the right to the women to elect and be elected. He noted that despite the racial, religious, nationality, women face many problems on the way to public activity, but their persistence in public-political processes has increased.

Professor Masmakhanim Gaziyeva, the head of the Linguoculturology Chair, said that she regarded the events organized by the SSS in the direction of education students at the university praiseworthy. She emphasized that women’s policy is one of the priorities of the independent Azerbaijan state. The professor spoke about the importance of women’s participation in social life for the future educated generations.

At the event, the students made speeches on “The First Lady of Azerbaijan Sara Khatun”, “First Lady and Vice President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva”, “Ganira Pashayeva, well-known political figure of Azerbaijan Bahar Muradova” and others.
