On April 21, the acting rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, Professor  Afgan Abdullayev attended the conference on “The role of university-school collaboration in teacher preparation “at secondary school No. 35 in Nasimi district. Before the conference, Professor A.Abdullayev viewed school students’ handicrafts, as well as an exhibition of teachers' diplomas and certificates. The event was held by the head of the combination of methods of foreign language subjects, winner of "Teacher of the Year", the school's English teacher Sadagat Mammadova and director of school Rana Naibova said that the school has been operating since 2000. The school was the "best school" in the academic year 2012-2013, the director said and spoke about the activities and achievements of English teachers. The school's English teachers train students of AUL in teaching practice in the highest level. A.Abdullayev was impressed by the works of school pupils and said that the school is a holy place. A. Abdullayev talked about a special attention of state head to this area.
