On May 15, on the initiative of the School of Translation a seminar "Preserving of cultural heritage" was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). "Country Studies and Intercultural Communication" course for Italian language students, was conducted by an instructor Paolo Giorgio Ferry on the Twinning project.

The instructor informed about cultural monuments theft, illegal transportation and sale, the applicable laws to return to the country, legal system, the work based on the experience in this field in Italy.

Note that cooperating within the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Twinning project, and delivering the lectures in connection with " Illegal transportation of cultural heritage " in different universities of Italy, Paolo Giorgio Ferry is the international expert on the legal problems dealing with "Preserving of cultural heritage” under the Italian Ministry of Culture, and an expert on twinning projects on European Union's "Preserving of cultural heritage".
