On March 15, employees of Confucius Institute operating within Azerbaijan University of Languages held a meeting of president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences of Gansu province, Wang Fuseng with the university's teaching staff. Director of the Confucius Institute, Professor Rafig Abbasov provided information about  scientific and social activities of the Institute, the educational process, as well as researches carried out for the implementation of "A belt and a way" Chinese project of  the global revival of the historic Silk. Wang Fuseng expressed his pleasure and highly appreciated the Confucius Institute of the Chinese language and teaching activities, as well as   familiarizing of Azerbaijan society with China's history, culture and modern life. He noted that the activity of the Confucius Institute has made great contributions of the strengthening of traditionally friendly relations between the peoples of Azerbaijan and China. In the end, the sides exchanged views on cooperation in the field of social sciences.
