On May 24, Head of Department of Mediatore linguistico of Milan Institute of Translation named after Altiero Spinelli, Professor Bruno Osimon gave a lecture in video-conference form called "Problems of translation of literary texts” on the course of the basics of Professional Translation   for Italian studies students of  School of Translation. He informed about translation theory, history, famous linguists contributions, the benefit of intercultural dialogue for linguistics and a variety of methods applied during translation. At the same time, he spoke about the revival of the art of translation in Eastern and Western Europe, the existing textbooks of Y.M.Lotman, R.O.Jacobs and other linguist scholars on the theory of translation.
