On May 25, Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature hosted an essay competition on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of great Azerbaijani poet Molla Panah Vagif at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). The university's School of Philology and Journalism 138 a, b, c groups participated in competition and essays on topics on  impressions about  M.P.Vaqif , his own creativity and poetry and so on were presented.

Note that Aytac Akhmedova was awarded I place,  Lachin Adigozalli II, Arzu Isgenderova third place in  the competition.
