On June 14, a seminar was held on "Azerbaijan state is the guarantee of the multiculturalism and tolerance” on the occasion June 15 - National Salvation Day at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) .

In his opening speech, the rector of AUL, Academician Kamal Abdulla noted that  in 1993 the national leader Heydar Aliyev’s return to the power for the second time survived  our country from great disasters, created political, economic and moral environment of the nation, who were about to enter the  Civil War. After his return to the power development was in moral, political and economic fields, these developments were the basics in the activities of President Ilham Aliyev, he added.

Saying that AUL has beautiful traditions and potential K.Abdulla expressed confidence in the future of the university cope with its mission on multicultural development of Azerbaijan. At the end of his speech K.Abdulla said that 15 June is pride and honor day, and congratulated the participants on the occasion of memorable day.

Head of the Department of Baku International Multiculturalism Center Rashad Ilyasov provided general information about the textbook “Azerbaijan multiculturalism". This book promotes Azerbaijan multiculturalism within the country and outside the country, the book could hit its mark in the history of science, as well as a text-book is a powerful source, he said.

At the meeting head of the Regional studies of AUL,  Associate Professor Sevdagul Aliyeva made speech on  " Heydar Aliyev's policy in  the proper integration of minorities living in Azerbaijan to the Azerbaijani society", senior teacher of the Department of  Psychology Misger  Mammadov on  "National leader Heydar Aliyev ‘s return to power, the trust and confidence of the people to him ", head of the Department of Linguodidactics, Professor Gulnar Huseynzadeh on  "Azerbaijan multiculturalism promotion in the world", head of the Department of Social sciences, , Associate Professor Adalat Abdiyeva on  " Multiculturalism policy during the  independence period and sustainable development of Azerbaijan ", professor of the Department of Linguistics Habib Zarbaliev on  " Teaching of Azerbaijan multiculturalism in Indonesian universities " .
