According to the decision dated 31 March, 2017 of the Scientific Council of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), Schools of Education (English and German) and Education (English and French) were merged and School of Education (teaching) was created.

Note that the purpose of the merging of the two schools is to create transparent and effective governance mechanisms responsible for education outcomes, modernization of regulation and management on the basis of international best practices, to achieve the implementation of result oriented and transparent governance model.
