AUL's rector met with Polish ambassador to Azerbaijan

On July 6, the rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (ANAS), the Acting member of ANAS Kamal Abdulla met with Polish Ambassador Marek Tssalka.

Welcoming the guest, the rector said he was glad to see him at the university. He emphasized that Polish studies specialty exist and develop at the university. K.Abdulla invited the Ambassador  to deliver a lecture at the university within the framework of the "Ambassador's Time" club. "I would like you to be in touch with such specialists as experts, not just polls, but also those who study in other specialties." The rector initiated the opening of the Azerbaijani Language and Culture Center at one of the Polish universities: "We will send our teachers there and promote the Azerbaijani culture".

K.Abdulla said that centers representing different countries function in AUL. "That's where multiculturalism is put in place, there are various opportunities to expand. We would like to deepen and strengthen relations with Poland, "the rector emphasized. The Rector added that Polish guests can also benefit from AUL's multicultural platform: "You can think of this platform as yours". K.Abdulla said that the book on Azerbaijani multiculturalism will be translated into Polish.

In turn, Ambassador M. Thalka thanked for the warm welcome. Speaking about Azerbaijan-Poland relations, he expressed his interest in cooperation with AUL. The ambassador said that the Polish teacher came to Azerbaijan and discussed the issue of studying at AUL. He said he would send a letter to a higher education institution with Oriental Studies, speaking about the opening of a center for the promotion of Azerbaijani language and culture in Poland. He said that he would invite the head of the university to Azerbaijan to discuss this issue.

Other issues were also discussed at the meeting.
