A scientific seminar was held at AUL

On July 31, the Confucius Institute under the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) held a scientific seminar on the theme "Ensuring peace and security in the Great Silk Road" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Liberation Army of China.

 Speaking about the geostrategic role of Azerbaijan in the rehabilitation of the Silk Road and perspectives of military-political and military-technical cooperation between the two countries, director of Confucius Institute, Professor Rafig Abbasov underlined the importance of ensuring the security of the Eurasian transport corridor.

Professor of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Nurulla Aliyev spoke at the seminar about the military-political priorities of China in the modernization of the army and the development of the military-industrial complex, China's participation in the modern geopolitical processes of the world and the ancient military art of this country.

 Confucius Institute staff Nigar Gojaeva and Ayan Kerimova spoke about security issues in the Great Silk Road.

It should be noted that the event was attended by military attache of Chinese Embassy Chjan Tsuno.
