On April 6, the Confucius institute operating within Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) hosted the event dedicated to the traditional Chinese holiday "Clean world holiday" (Tsinmin).

The director of Confucius Institute, Professor Rafig Abbasov spoke about the history of holiday which symbolizes coming of spring and memory of dead heroes.

Employees of Confucius Institute   spoke about “Tsinmin” people’s tradition, performances and dances, sports events, city side sightseeing and spring works.

This holiday express respect for elders and supports relations among the generations, it was noted at the event.
