SSS has started its annual conference at AUL

On April 11, Student Scientific Society (SSS) has started  its annual conference dedicated to the 94th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the University at  Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).

Speaking with opening speech, the acting rector of AUL, Professor Afgan Abdullayev greeted the conference participants and brought to the attention that the future scientists’ reports will be heard, and stressed its importance. The scientific societies join students around the same interest, said A.Abdullayev and student scientific society plays an important role in students’ life, it was noted. In world practice SSSs are estimated important bodies  operating at the universities, he stressed  and he also praised the work of SSS. Professor A.Abdullayev thanked everyone who contributed to the conference, and wished the students success.

SSS's chairman Asgar Zeynalov informed about the structure of the conference, as well as section meetings, venues, and expressed his best wishes to students.

101a student of AUL Shahnaz Asadova delivered speech on   "The language situations particulars in Azerbaijan ", 312c student Konul Akhundzade " The role of fiction in learning a foreign language ", 453 group student Nigar Dunyamaliyeva "US HAARP policy", 210A group students Sema Guliyeva "The problem of dyslexia in school children: The causes of dyslexia and ways to eliminate the problem" in the plenary session.

The plenary session ended with the exchange of proposals and ideas.

It should be noted that after the plenary sessions, the conference continued with section meetings. During the 3-day conference 1315 reports will be heard on 24 sections, in the final session reports of the heads of sections will be heard, and distinguished students will be awarded.

Note that though AUL SSS was established in the 1960s to reveal students' scientific talent, to guide their activity in the field of science, later the activity was terminated. In December 1998, the SSS has resumed its activities and each year holds scientific conferences.
