A roundtable dedicated to the 78th birthday of Aida Imanguliyeva was held at AUL

A roundtable titled "Multicultural Study of East-West Relations" dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the birth of Aida Imanguliyeva, Doctor of Philology, oriental studies was held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) Scientific-Research Laboratory of Multiculturalism.

Opening the event, AUL Advisor on Science and Education, PhD in philology Seyfel Hasanov noted that Aida Imanguliyeva, who played an important role in the formation of multicultural environment in contemporary Azerbaijan, contributed significantly to Oriental Studies and World Literature: "The prominent scientist, Aida Imanguliyeva is a talented personality and public figure, and has deeply trained in Azerbaijan literature as well as philosophical thinking. I would like to note that Aida Imanguliyeva, despite her short life, has been remembered as a valuable public figure, spending her life studying Oriental culture and literature with deep roots of her people's history and traditions. "

Speaking about the role of multiculturalism in the development of our country and the formation of a healthy civil society in the modern world, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Chesmi Hajiyeva, advisor of the rector of AUL, said that the Year of Multiculturalism of 2016 and the Year of Islamic Solidarity 2017 said that the decrees that have been signed on this issue show that multiculturalism is the lifestyle of our people. She added that Aida Imanguliyeva has been able to reveal the invisible relationship between the past and modern philosophical thinking, and that her scientific heritage is closely associated with the Arab countries of Azerbaijan and plays an important role in the development of international multicultural relations between the states.

Head of the Department of Arabic Philology of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Z.M.Bunyadov, Azerbaijan State Academy of Sciences, Professor Vilayat Jafarov, Executive Director of Baku International Multiculturalism Center Ravan Hasanov, Head of Analytical Department of Baku International Multiculturalism Center Rashad Ilyasov and other speakers read lectures on Aida Imanguliyeva's researches directions, multicultural values in literature.
