On October 13, American Journalist, Independent Researcher, International Relations Expert Peter Teys met with students of the Faculty of Philology and Journalism at the Azerbaijan University of Languages Multiculturalism Research Laboratory (AUL).

During the meeting P. Teys made speech on  "Multiculturalism traditions in the United States. Introduction to Modern Cultural Diversity ".

 In his report P.Teys, who is visiting our country on the invitation of the Baku International Multiculturalism Center to conduct a research on the theme "Azerbaijan Model of Multiculturalism", in his report, investigating and continuing the traditions of multiculturalism in the United States, steps to protect diversity, cultural values of peoples and ethnic groups, talked about their forms. He also praised multicultural values, traditions of tolerance in our country, saying that Azerbaijan is a country known worldwide for its model of multiculturalism. P.Teys conducted a comparative analysis of multiculturalism models between Azerbaijan and the United States, based on the words of President Ilham Aliyev, who said that multiculturalism is a state policy in Azerbaijan.

In the course of the meeting, the guest answered the questions of the students.
