The final conference of CoMoLTE program was held at AUL

On October 24,a closing conference of the CoMoLTE program of the TEMPUS project was held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).

Rector of AUL, active member of ANAS, honored scientist Kamal Abdulla welcomed the Munich Ludwig-Maximilian University, Belarus State University and Nakhchivan State University staff, as well as other participants, wishing them success in their opening speech. The lecturer said that the meeting was dedicated to the discussion of an interesting project, which is a very important issue for contemporary linguistic and educational problems. "Modern language teaching today is a very important place in the language teaching and is the starting point for learning a language. The importance of modern language in this program is extremely interesting and useful for all language methods. I believe that the project will be useful both for linguistic and inter-university relationships, while participants will not only solve language problems, but also build sincerity. "

At the end of his speech, the rector K.Abdulla expressed special gratitude to the management of TEMPUS and expressed hope that in the future the relations with AUL will be sustainable.

Speaking at the conference, collaborator at the Munich Ludwig-Maximilian University, Jorge Roche, spoke of collaborative and collaborative work with partners, new analysis methods, cognitive linguistics and psycho-linguistics.

The conference will continue its work for 3 days.

CoMoLTE (Educational Consortium of Modern Language Teachers) is a multilateral cooperation project between the European Union and partner countries - Belarus and Azerbaijan. The project is funded by the European Union's TEMPUS program. Reconstruction and development of programs covering cutting-edge language learning and cross-cultural communication through participatory countries' modern language curriculum development, regional knowledge and best practices, skills and habits sharing and development for sustainable high quality , the creation of new textbooks for teaching English and German, and their online deployment, as well as the use of online textbooks in eight modules.

Note that the vice rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Jale Garibova, Head of General Linguistics Department, Professor Azad Mammadov and the teacher of the department of Innovation Sevil Gurbanova participated in the writing of several modules of English language textbooks. Currently textbooks are translated into German. In the near future, textbooks will be translated into Azerbaijani language and gradually will be directed to the teaching process.
