Rector of AUL Kamal Abdulla met with the Palestinian ambassador

The diplomat delivered a lecture to university students

On November 3, rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), active member of ANAS, honored scientist Kamal Abdulla met with Ambassador of the Palestinian State to Azerbaijan Nasir Abdul Karim Abdul Rahim, who came to the university to deliver a lecture within the framework of the project "Ambassador's Hour". Thanking the Ambassador for the consent to meet with the students, K. Abdulla said he hopes they will benefit from this lecture.

Speaking about multiculturalism in Azerbaijan, the rector emphasized that multiculturalism is a state policy. He said that 17 multinational universities in the world are teaching "Azerbaijan's multiculturalism".

In turn, the ambassador thanked for warm reception. He noted that the relations between Azerbaijan and Palestine are of historical ties, and that history and culture unite us. N.Karim recalled that diplomatic relations between the two countries were established 25 years ago and he was proud of being the first ambassador of the Palestinian state to the Republic of Azerbaijan. He described the diploma as a university of choice, which he mentioned several times in AUL. He added that it is important to hold meetings with diplomats at a university that is of such great importance.

At the end of the meeting, the ambassador was presented the book "Literary and artistic sources of Azerbaijan multiculturalism".

Then the ambassador made a presentation on the "View of Palestine" within the framework of the "Hour of the Ambassador" for students studying Arabic studies at the Faculty of International Relations and Management of AUL. First of all, the ambassador thanked the university administration for providing conditions for the presentation and gave detailed information to the students on the basis of historical development and socio-economic situation of the Palestinian people. "Palestine was a recognized country in the world with its culture and traditions. In the passage of time, the Palestinian people succeeded in maintaining their national wealth, carpet weaving and other cultural-heritage roots. The making of well-known films in the world of cinema is also one of the achievements of the Palestinian culture. "

Saying that there are well-known representatives in the field of arts and literature, along with the famous historical and architectural monuments of the Palestinian state, Karim was pleased to give a presentation about his country.
