On November 6, at the initiative of the International Relations Department of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), MP of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Defense, Security and Anti-Corruption of the Milli Majlis, Doctor of Philosophy in Politics Aydin Mirzazadeh and political scientist Rasim Musabeyov met with the university students within the framework of the project Auditorium +.

The head of the International Relations Department, Associate Professor Aida Yusifzadeh said opening the presentation at the university. He reminded that the event was held within the framework of the "Analytical Thinking" project of the chair and expressed confidence that this meeting would be interesting for the students.

Speaking on the topic "Geopolitical situation and international policy of Azerbaijan", political scientist R. Musabeyov said that interstate relations are related to interests and that international relations are based on these interests. He noted that, as a result of changes taking place in the world, new communications are formed, the power rates of states change, which in turn creates new opportunities and new risks. Stressing that the South Caucasus is historically a region where the big powers are competing and struggling, the political scientist pointed out that since the 19th century Russia has joined this competition and occupied this region. R. Musabayov also spoke about the strategic partners of Azerbaijan, communication opportunities, etc.

Later, MP A.Mirzazadeh spoke about Azerbaijan's domestic policy. He said that our independence, our policy, our predictions on tomorrow come from history: "We need to know history well, to analyze, to see where and how the interests come from, where and how they collide, and to determine the way to the future. The most important factor in this regard is the preservation of state independence, which is at the root of all issues and the desires of all our desires. “Noting that Azerbaijan has a special place in international relations due to the policy pursued by Azerbaijan, the MP said that balanced policy of our country contributed to this work. He also touched upon issues such as the army building, military industry, education and healthcare system, capital attraction and investment investments. At the end of his speech, A.Mirzazadeh advised the students to stay connected to history, to take care of them, to protect our interests.
