The director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, director of the Azerbaijan Literature Department of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Mukhtar Imanov named Dede Gorgud for the heroic deeds of the "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud" epos, about the elements of the Islamic religion, etymology of the Gorgut word and other important issues, "The epic" Kitabi Dede Gorgud ", which is characteristic of historical personalities and events, is also reflected in events and images based on mythological outlook, along with real events.
