On January 17, Rector  of AUL, Professor Afgan Abdullayev met with the Executive Director of Student Loan Fund  "Enlightener" Rufat Mahmud  at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). Professor Afgan abdullayev provided the guest of detailed information about the university's activities, the education system.

Rufat Mahmud spoke about the fund's mission, strategies, management systems, values and principles. The fund, which operates on the basis of international experience, Rufat Mahmud noted that the university students benefited from the opportunities offered by the organization. He stressed that academic performance and family’s income are  taken into account in the students' selection, evaluation and admission process.

An exchange of views was carried out around the issues of selection as a member to the Guardians Council, involvement of AUL students in the current year.

Note that the Student Loan Fund "Enlightenment” was established on the initiative of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the higher education institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan . The main mission of the fund created for students is providing loans to students from poor families to receive them equal access to higher education.
