On February 21 the next event on Khojaly genocide was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). The event began with a minute of silence to commemorate our compatriots who died in Khojaly genocide. Vice rector for Educational Affairs, Professor Aladdin Aliyev provided information about the vandalism, the massacres against our innocent people in Khojaly , savagery encountered no war. A. Aliyev said that the territorial integrity of our state was violated and noted that our patriotic nation is able every time to liberate our lands. Associate professor of the department of German language, witness of Khojaly events Yusif Savalan shared his memories with the students. Provocation of Armenian was associated with the event since 1988, he said. As for Y.Savalan favorable geographic position of Khojaly and the existence of airport played the role of a strategic place for the realization of future plans on Nagorno-Karabakh, therefore, Khajaly has always been a focus of interest of the enemy. When events occurred, Khojaly residents were unarmed in front of military equipment, they lost their  family members –fathers and sisters  during committed massacres , he said. During the genocide massacres committed against our people were not met in the history, Y.Savalan said, and recommended   students to bring the truth about this incident to the international community using language knowledge. Professor of the department of Social sciences, Mahammad Teymurlu comparing  with fascists  Armenians  are more unscrupulous, self-esteem and unmerciful. He noted that the Armenians have shown non-humanity in Khojaly and committed massacres ruthlessly having incarnation of women, children. Noting the importance of always remembering the Khojaly genocide professor expressed confidence that the occupied territories will be returned. He noted that AUL is a window opening to the world and our students should be aware of their moral duty to bring the true face of the events in Khojaly to the world by learning languages . The event ended in mutual discussions.
