AUL held the round table on “Analysis of work of Trade Union with young women"

On February 28, on the initiative of Trade Union Committee  of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) and Center for Gender Equality and Women's Issues of Trade Union Committee of Azerbaijan hosted the  round table on “Analysis of work of  Trade Union with young women". Head of Trade Union Committee of AUL, Professor Misger Mammadov spoke about gender equality in our country.  Speaking about the main directions of state policy on gender equality M.Mammadov spoke about the issues related to the promotion of equality. Head of Center for Gender Equality and Women's Issues of Trade Union Committee of Azerbaijan Jamila Sattarova provided information on the establishment and operation of the center. The majority members of the center are women; Jamila Sattarova said and   introduced their overall statistics. Jamila Sattarova   noted that the center aims to realize events and projects directed to the solving of psychological and social problems of the community. Women were enlightened in the direction of regulating business and family ties, Jamila Sattarova said and spoke about the responsibilities of the employer. Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of Independent Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Workers Mirza Jafarzadeh provided information on work with students in the regulation of gender equality. In his speech, Mirza Jafarzadeh spoke about the role of women in management. AUL associate professor of the Department of Regional studies Kifayat Aghayeva, associate professor of Department of the Second foreign language Shamsinur Aslanova, lecturer   of the Department of English grammar Aidan Malikzadeh spoke about steps taken on regulation of gender equality at the University, statistical results and the activity of young women in managerial positions. At the meeting, issues such as the round tables that the youth policy, their social rights, gender issues are discussed and the conduction of open classes, Trade Union Committee to organize youth activities and organization of their leisure time were touched upon. Proposals and recommendations were heard, views on ways of solving problems on the subject were exchanged.
