On April 19, jointly organized by New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), Nasimi district organization, State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and AUL an event was held  to inform students about the competition on "Women are bulwark of our  state, statehood, independence,  today, and future " dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).

Vice rector of AUL for Educational Affairs Aladdin Aliyev spoke about the purpose of the event and praised the work of State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs. The committee is holding a competition on women's rights, said A. Aliyev and recommended students to be the participants of the project.

Attending the event, MP,  deputy chairman of the NAP Women Council Sevinj Fataliyeva,  NAP Central Office employee Zakiyya Musayeva and senior consultant on Gender Issues of State Committee on  Family, Women and Children's Affairs, Sahiba Farajova  spoke about women's positive role in Azerbaijani society, their strengthening position day by day , and women's rights, one of the priority issues of gender politics, evaluated the activities of women in various fields as an indicator of public support. It was provided information about the activities of Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, its main tasks, as well as the terms of essay competition that was announced by the organization.

The meeting ended with answering the students' questions.

Note that the main purpose of the competition is to propagate wise insight and advice of national leader Heydar Aliyev about Azerbaijani women, young people, to encourage and create opportunities for talented young people to discover the creative possibilities.
