On November 16, a roundtable on “The Role of the Media in the Wars and Conflicts" was organized by the Department of Regional Studies at Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​(AUL). At the roundtable, Ulviyya Husseynova, the teacher of the Department of Regional Studies spoke about the positive and negative sides of the Media in the war, distinguished the traditional media from the social one, and showed examples from Britain, Japan, Central and Eastern European countries. The head of the Department of the French language Phonetics and Grammar, Associate Professor Ulfat Ibrahim dwelt on the presentation of the Nagorniy -Karabakh conflict through the Media. The other speakers - teachers of the Department of Regional Studies Harun Sadygly and Hamida Jafarova, informed the participants about common features of the Mass Media and the Nagorniy -Karabakh conflict and compared countries.
